El Paso Motorplex April Points Race #2

A good turnout of racers with nice weather along with a real smooth day at the races.
Vic and the track crew did a great job running the race. The time trials started right on time and ran through with no major problems.

Billy Graham from the Hot Rod Connection won the Pro class in his 4-Speed Camaro over Rafael de la Rosa in the Pacific Audio Vega. Billy says this is his first win in over 20 years, congrats Billy! The Tony Lewis Dragster made it the semis but came up short when he lined up with the gear bangin' Billy Graham.

This quick little red, white and blue Dodge Dart took the Modified class first place money over Ruben Jasso in his '69 Mustang


Modified runner up Ruben Jasso had lady luck on his side with all four first rounds opponents going red!

Brian Schuetta took first place in street in his Rental Mustang (no pic again, sorry Brian!!)

|Tony Mora made his buy back count making it to the finals of street class in his '72 Ranchero GT.
The Ranchero has been in his family since it was new.

Another nice site at the drags, Sarah and Brenda from the El Paso Calendar Girls

Bob Nochols in his AMC and Danny Dean in the Duster

Sergio from Luna Perfromance went to the 4th round in his turbo Eclipse in Street
