It's true that racing supports the aftermarket, the shops, etc.- just look at all of the carnage from the races both for Friday and the Saturday Night Shooutout.

Speaking of local shops - big thanks to Brian at INFORCE and Brian at Texas Hot Rods for the VHT, track prep and extra lighting for the shootout.

Vince Moore rolled out of the beams in the final round of the heads up no break out class giving Cliff the autmatic win and close to 1000 bucks!

Vince Moore with the wheel way up! Vince ran his car all the way out in the finals but had some ticking and knocking sound after the run. One of many racers that hurt parts Saturday Night. Vince ran a new personal best ET of 10.2

The race of the night had to be Cliff Wells vs. Rick Styles

Cliff Wells tookout Alan Alvarez first round when Alan lost his clutch -another car hurt parts.

Victor Contreras lost in the semis to Vince Moore after Vic hurt his motor
- turned out to be 2 broken lifters and a cam. more parts.

Ray Frescas blew a headgasket in a first round loss against Duron. more parts

Andrew Duron's nitrous'd small block Mustang defeated Frescas first round but lost to the hard charging Rick Styles Mazda RX-7 in round 2

The Mustang of Chavez Auto made a time run that ended with a lot of sparks on the top end. It never came back around for eliminations. more parts!

After running his new best ever ET of 10.2 Friday night Erik Brock couldn't pull up to run his scheduled matchup first round. His 496 Big block Olds wouldn't crank over in the staging lanes due to internal engine damage.
