Arroyo Seco Racway- Last Race for '06
110 Racers entered for the last event for the year at ASR making this the best turnout since 2003. Everyone enjoyed the great weather considering it's November, and best of all no rain and little winds. Unfortunately the Pro class could not be finished up due to some oil downs and light problems causing a few delays and re-runs forcing the event to run into the night.But the Motorcycle, Street and Modified classes were finished. We didn't try the wireless internet signal, but the new ASR radio station with the PA was working great and getting used by many. Good news is we should have a ton of great photos to post of this race since Chuy Nava and Vicky "soon to be Frescas" Hirzel were there.

Jerry Cordero from El Paso made it all the way to the finals before losing to Vasquez in the final round.

Jonathon Graham, El Paso, brought out his recently completed
Camaro for his first pass down the 1320 in it. Ram some mid 10's.

Vince in his 4-Speed Nova ran some 11's

Sammy Torres out of Las Cruces in the "Sweet Deal" Nova

Geno Leyba drove both of the "Mean Green Machine" El Caminos though the rounds of Pro and Mod. He was one of the pro cars that split the purse.

Pat Muller out of Silver City yanking the wheels in his big Ford Torino.
