Here's a peak at a few of the great photos sent to us from Dennis
Kincaid.
Kincaid started racing back in the 60's and continues to race to this
day in his Pontiac.
He also wrote articles
and took photos of the local drags for the El Paso Times and other
local newspapers in the late 60's to early 70's. Dennis was generous
enough to share his collection of photos taken from the starting line
of El Paso Dragway in it's very first years of operation.
So check out the way they used to drag race in El Paso.
I'll
be adding some notes to some of the photos
that Dennis wrote on the photos. Check back for updates.
