August 22 - Dezert Demonz Dragway. There were some quick cars out at Dezert Demonz batteling it out including Cliff Wells in his yellow Chevelle, Alan Alvarez and his red and white scalloped LX Mustang, Eric Brock's super clean big block nitrous Cutlass, Jaime Cardenas' nitrous assisted Mustang coupe, Greg Staford's wild big block blown Dart, Chachi Luevenos' Blown big block Camaro, and some nitrous Mustangs owned by Pete Melendez, Sal Contreras and Ruben Bolanos.

The Domestic Wild class had everyone hoping to see a bunch of the big dogs come out battle it out. Unfortunately it wasn't promoted as a big money race as that would have brought out a lot more cars in every class! It was still a really good turnout, and will be one to remember! Vince Moore brought out his primered small block 4 speed 1967 Chevelle with some big help from the little blue bottle. Vince took home $600 for winning the Domestic Wild class and an additional $800 for winning the overall event. 1400 bones aint too bad for a nights work. Vince took out Ruben Bolanos in his 91 Mustang LX in the finals but Ruben still took home $300 for second place.

Domestic Mild Aaron Laubin in his 2003 Corvette Z06 took home $400 for winning the class over Phillip Gonzales from DT Velocity in his 2000 Chevy Camaro Z28 Phillip went home with $200.

Domestic V6 Ryan Green just barely got his 2000 Ford Mustang in front of Eduardo Magallenes' 94 Thunderbird Ryan got $200 for winning his class while Eduardo took home $100.

Import This class had a few cars including some quick Supras, Hondas, a pretty badd ass older RX-7, and Mike McIntyre's famous dual engine 98 Hyundai Tiburon. This car has run 10's! He took $300 for first over Derek Wilson in his 2000 Subaru Impreza. He won $150.
